Nice wavy wig.

I purchased Katherine in the shade 12FS8. It has a medium golden brown root, which does look red in the sunlight. It is highlighted with a light/medium blonde, and there is light brown running through it. The overall appearance is extremely natural. It reminds me of a "dirty blonde" shade. Very believable. Nobody would ever know it is a wig. The curl pattern is not quite like the photo. It is definitely more curly. I used a low heat hair dryer with my fingers, to gently loosen the curl. It and now has a nice wave to it. I know it is not heat defiant, but the air from the dryer was just a slight bit warm. I would purchase it again. If you enjoy curls, I highly recommend this wig. It's not too thick, nor too thin. The perfect style to wear as a loose updo, or half up, half down. I did have bangs cut into it. 4 stars only because it does get frizzy at the nape, as most longer wigs do.

Out of the box, Katherine was beautiful - nice waves, density, and length. I was concerned about the lack of a mono part. You can get volume on top to disguise the lack of a part. However, I found the hair to be very dry. It starting frizzing at the nape after a few hours of wear. This was my first Jon Renau purchase. The feel of the hair really leaves me with concerns about how much wear I will get out of her. I probably won't try Giselle now because of this.
